St Gregory's 300 Club Jericho Appeal
Dear Parishioners and Friends of St Gregory's,

Our beautiful Grade 2* Listed Church is the town's main Roman Catholic Church. About 1,000 attend Mass here each weekend, and there is also a daily Mass congregation of about 70. Whilst we are a lively parish with many active groups, we are not a rich one.

Many people have already given freely of their time, effort, and prayers, since the Jericho Appeal was first launched in 1997, and have contributed generously in support of different projects. We are very grateful for that. Now, with Father John's full support, we are launching a 300 Club to raise funds for the new floor and heating system, and extensive repairs to the main roof - estimated to cost in excess of £500,000 - as well as the ongoing and increasingly expensive day-to-day repairs and maintenance of the Church. We are appealing again to your generosity.

How does the 300 Club work?

You can join the 300 Club by committing to making a regular contribution to the St Gregory's 300 Club Jericho Appeal. All we are asking you to do is set up a standing order donation of £5 per month, or £60 per year. Each member will be allocated a number. The numbers are then entered into a draw that will take place in the Old Priory at St Gregory's Church on the last Sunday of each month, after the 09.30 Mass.

Prizes at the outset are

  • 1st Prize £100
  • 2nd Prize £50
  • 3rd Prize £25

At Christmas there will be an additional free draw. Prizes will be paid by cheque and posted to the winners after each draw throughout the year.

It is easy to join the 300 Club and contribute to this worthwhile fund, whilst giving yourself a chance to win a money prize. If you are concerned about playing a lottery, please don't be. If you win a prize you can always donate it back to St Gregory's!

Finally, please don't forget that all the funds raised through the 300 Club will go towards the upkeep and development of our beautiful church.
